Application can be written at anytime prior to damage of the crop.

Coverage takes place (prior to Aug 1) earlier of 2hrs following the time and date we receive the completed application or 12:01 am the following day the application is signed.  After Aug 1, provisions take effect 12:01 am of the day following receipt of application.

Once in force, policy cannot be decreased or cancelled, but can be increased at any time prior to damage.  12:01 am after signature date


Basic Hail

  • Excess over 0% loss
    • Payable % = adjusted loss %
    • After 70% Catastrophic loss Adjustment applies and an additional 0.5% of each % in excess of 70% will apply.
    • Excess of 90% loss pays 100%

DXS5
(5% Deductible disappearing at 25%)

  • Excess over 5% loss
    • If adjusted loss < 25% then payable % = (adjusted loss – 5%) x 1.25
    • If adjusted loss > 25% then deductible no longer applies.
    • After 70% Catastrophic loss Adjustment applies and an additional 0.5% of each % in excess of 70% will apply.
    • Excess of 90% loss pays 100%


DXS10
(10% Deductible disappearing at 50%)

  • Excess over 10% loss
    • If adjusted loss < 50% then payable % = (adjusted loss – 10%) x 1.25
    • If adjusted loss > 50% then deductible no longer applies.
    • After 70% Catastrophic loss Adjustment applies and an additional 0.5% of each % in excess of 70% will apply.
    • Excess of 90% loss pays 100%

XS15IP
(15% Deductible disappearing with increasing payment)

  • Excess over 15% loss
    • If adjusted loss , 70% then payable % = adjusted loss – 15%
    • After 70% the payable % = (adjusted loss – 15%) + (adjusted loss -70%) x 1.5
    • Excess of 88% loss pays 100%


XS20IP
(20% Deductible with increasing payment)

  • Excess over 20% loss
    • Payable % = (adjusted loss – 20%) x 1.25
    • 100% loss pays 100%

  • Field Corn and Seed Corn
  • Does not add additional liability
  • XS5 deductible or 0% deductible
  • Extra Harvest allowance for additional cost
  • Coverage attaches the later of acceptance of the application or the 7th leaf stage
  • Expires the earlier of harvest or calendar date in state rate manual
  • In conjunction with Production Hail Plan

Fire Coverage

  • Elected prior to June 1 for Wheat, September 1st for all other crops
  • Can be written as stand alone. (without hail)
